Bee Line for Billionaire Boys Club x Timberland 6-Inch Boot

I clocked on to Pharrell wearing these luscious bold red timbs since he launched his Bee Line collection and partnership with phenonomen Mark Mcnairy. Originally seen in the summer of 2013, on the feet of Pharrell, while attending BBC’s 10th anniversary party in Las Vegas, a pair of limited edition 6-inch crimson red boots dropped on August 17. Following up the july 31st teaserBee Line for Billionaire Boys Club provides a closer look at its latest collaborative effort with American outerwear brand Timberland.

Additional details became known to the public on this ultra-trendy drop including tonal hardware throughout, a premium leather construction, a translucent outsole, Timberland’s iconic tree logo, two laces options, and a special Bee Line embroidered hang tag. unfortunately like all big shoe drops, Limited numbers of just 300 boots in the USA were sold at a price of $250 USD on August 17 with a few more sold online. Also, almost on the day of the release, Pharrell's most closest friends and contemporaries showcased their own appreciation of the boot by taking to instagram and any social event possible to present their boots courtesy of their good friend Pharrell.

i've been sitting on these Timberland's for a long time and was hella excited for their release. I knew they would be ridiculously expensive and extremely hard to get your hands on (especially considering i'm in the UK), but my hopes rested on my opinion of the shoe. Personally i love the boots however i consider them to be favoured of those people with an acquired taste. The Timberland tradition resided on the outdoor country type and was then brought into the rounds of streetwear. The traditional earth coloured "Earthkeepers" is the norm around the baggy top, buffalo/checkered shirt and skinny jean wearing street culture of 2014 due to the likes of Drake and Kanye west. With this being said, i then questioned the use of outstanding crimson boots to these likes. Obviously Pharrell's influence is a lot bigger, than even a loyal fan such as myself, saw.
