LC:M - Burberry Porsum/Christopher Bailey AW15

48 looks deep of pure sharp, wearable tailoring and boho vibes, Christopher Bailey presents a new addition in his design reign at Burberry. With an array of colours, Bailey designed a collection to that mimicked the british normcore late 50's heritage fashion and with paisley  and leopard prints featuring throughout the collection, the Burberry Porsum show became somewhat of a styling masterclass instead of a trade gathering.

Designed with an exciting yet earthy colour palette and an impeccable ability to seamlessly blend clashing colours, Christopher Bailey's collection was easily one of LC:M's most incredible shows.

The 48 looks each held their own as stylised individual outfits and needed no other looks to enhance them. Two separate shows could have been fashioned from the savvy collection but an with an expert eye for impeccable style and colour, Bailey managed to balance and blend the palette as he regurgitated old tailored silhouettes and layered them with ease and confidence. No single style stood out, yet their individual classicism united them together seamlessly.

Whilst the mac has forever been one of Burberry's most coveted designs, other outerwear took prize feature in this collection as Bailey brought shawls and shearling back. Wearing oversized shawls draping over the shoulders as we strut around in a tailored velvet suit and paisley shirt whilst holding leather/suede carryalls and totes... it gets cold, so we then put on our shearling lined duffer coat and parade London town as if we were out in the heart of Oxford.
